How we work
Facial Aesthetics
Subtle facial aesthetic treatments planned around balance and natural expression, not overdone results.
Honest suitability
Is facial aesthetics treatment right for me?
The best aesthetic outcomes come from matching treatment to the individual, not following a protocol. We assess facial anatomy, skin quality, dynamic movement and your goals before making any recommendation. When a different treatment, or no treatment, would serve you better, that is the advice you receive.
Suitable if
- Adults seeking natural-looking improvement with realistic expectations
- Healthy skin with no active infection in the treatment area
- Patients who value a consultation-led, staged approach
- Those wanting evidence-based treatment from a medically trained clinician
May not be suitable if
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding - most injectables are contraindicated
- Active skin infection or inflammation in the proposed treatment area
- Certain autoimmune conditions or medications affecting specific treatments
- Patients expecting dramatic immediate transformation rather than a natural refresh
Patient benefits
Why patients trust us with their face
Patients trust our aesthetics service because they already know the standard of our clinical care, and because the same considered, unhurried approach applies to their face.
-
Refresh, not replace
Every plan is designed to make you look like yourself at your best. Natural results that do not announce themselves.
-
Anatomy understood at depth
Our clinicians spend their professional lives understanding facial muscles, nerves and structure. That knowledge informs every injection.
-
Evidence-led treatments only
We offer treatments because they have clinical evidence behind them, not because they are trending.
-
Subtle staged planning
Treatment can be built gradually, so results stay natural and proportionate.
-
Consultation
Assessment and planning. We assess facial anatomy, skin condition and priorities, then outline recommended options.
-
Treatment session Procedure delivery
Selected treatments are performed with comfort and safety protocols specific to each procedure.
-
Early review Progress check
We review healing and response, making minor refinements where appropriate.
-
Ongoing care Maintenance planning
A realistic maintenance schedule helps preserve results over time.
Clinical assessment
How we approach your aesthetics consultation
Every aesthetics plan at Bridge Dental begins with consultation, not treatment. These are the factors we assess before making any recommendation.
- 01
Facial anatomy and muscle movement
We map how your face moves at rest and in expression before planning any injectable treatment.
- 02
Skin condition and treatment area health
Active infection, inflammation or recent procedures in the area may mean delaying treatment.
- 03
Medical history and medications
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, blood-thinning medicines and relevant conditions are reviewed at consultation.
- 04
Realistic goals and staged planning
We agree what a natural result looks like for you and whether treatment should be built gradually.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How long do anti-wrinkle results last?
Typically 3–4 months, sometimes longer with repeated treatments.
Will fillers look obvious?
Our approach prioritises natural balance, amount and placement are discussed beforehand.
Is there downtime?
Some swelling or bruising can occur; most people return to normal activities quickly.
Can I combine treatments?
Yes, combination plans are common and usually staged for safety.
What is Profhilo?
An injectable moisturiser that improves skin tone, hydration and elasticity over a short course.
Am I suitable?
Medical history, pregnancy, breastfeeding and certain conditions may affect suitability, we advise at consultation.
How do I book a facial aesthetics consultation at Bridge Dental?
Use our online booking link or call reception. We will confirm appointment length, what to bring, and whether any preparatory steps are needed.
Are guide fees fixed before treatment?
We provide written estimates from our published fee guide. If your clinical needs change after assessment, we discuss any difference before proceeding.
What is a skin booster?
Skin boosters are injectable treatments that hydrate and improve skin quality rather than adding volume or freezing movement. They work gradually over a course of sessions to improve texture, elasticity and glow, often on the face or neck. Profhilo is one type of skin booster; we recommend the approach that matches your skin and goals at consultation.
What counts as an “area” for anti-wrinkle treatment?
An area is a treated muscle region, commonly frown lines between the brows, forehead lines, or crow’s feet around the eyes. At consultation we map your facial movement, agree which areas would give a natural result, and quote for one, two or three areas before any treatment. The aim is refresh, not a frozen look.
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are gel-based injectables used to restore subtle volume, soften lines, or refine contours, for example in lips or cheeks. We use them conservatively, with facial proportion in mind, and always after a full consultation. Treatment is staged when needed, and we explain expected results, downtime and maintenance honestly before you proceed.
